Season 8 of the American family reality TV show “Sister Wives” on TLC is already into its third episode and contrary to rumors that fourth and legal wife Robyn is having a serious feud with third wife Christine, the two seems to be growing closer to one another.
It can be recalled that it was family friend Kendra Pollard who revealed to the public prior to the Season 8 of “Sister Wives” that Christine and Robyn are figuratively at each other’s throats with their feud.
In fact, one outlet even reported that Christine wanted to rip out the eyes of Robyn from its sockets because she was allegedly very jealous of the attention that the latter is getting from Kody, the patriarch of the polygamous Brown family.
However, as shown in the past three episodes of Season 8 of “Sister Wives,” the two continue to nourish their relationship and have in fact grown closer which has become evident lately, notes the iTech Post.
Celebrating the love of their daughters
The recent third episode of “Sister Wives” Season 8 actually focused on the Brown family’s celebration of new love for their daughters, Maddie and Mykelti.
In the first episode, Maddie walked down the aisle and the third episode of the reality TV series showed how her family prepared for the gorgeous garden bridal shower.
The episode also showed Kody and his four wives finally agreeing on something for the first time which is to oppose Mykelti and Tony’s plan of also getting married soon.
The Browns apparently wanted to get to know Tony first before they concur to their plans of getting married. They have also agreed that Tony has to be accepted first by the family, the way Caleb was before he and Maddie got married.
After much haggling, Mykelti finally agrees to the decision of her parents and she also convinces Tony to concur because they both wanted to show their folks how much they truly love each other.
Mending fences
The episode also showed how Kody and Meri, the first wife, are working out things and are about to reach the conclusion of their impending separation.
Meri and Janelle, the second wife, were also seen continuing to meet with their therapist to ease the tension between them and work on their relationship.
Incidentally, there are speculations claiming of lawsuits and cancellation for “Sister Wives” after its current Season 8.
Reports have it that there is a sexual assault charge that was filed against Kody Brown and is said to be destroying the legacy of the TV series. However, Kody Brown, any of his four wives, or the network, has yet to confirm or deny the rumors so it is best to take them with a pinch of salt, notes Game & Guide.
Fans of the TV series know that it is not the first time that characters of “Sister Wives” has faced negative rumors and speculations and most, if not all, of them eventually turned out to be false.
Season 8 of “Sister Wives” officially aired on TLC on November 27 with a two-hour premiere episode and contrary to speculations that the show has had near-misses and was about to be canceled, the polygamous Brown family was back in one piece.
Fans and critics of “Sister Wives” are just happy knowing that their favorite show is back on the small screen, regardless of the ridiculous rumors that seemed to insinuate that there is no way the Brown family will be coming back as whole in Season 8.
During the Season 7 finale where Kody Brown had that tell-all interview with TLC host Erica Hill, the Brown patriarch said his second baby with fourth wife Robyn is going to be the last addition to their family.
Robyn gave birth to daughter Ariella early this year and Kody said that her baby daughter is going to be the last addition to their family as he nor any of his wives no longer has plans of having a baby anytime soon.
However, it seems that there would be likely future additions to the Brown family but not from Kody or any of his four wives but most likely from their children.
