‘Sister Wives’ About to be Canned for Season 8 as Kody Plans to Dump All His Four Wives and Get Two New Ones? Let’s See

The seventh season of the American reality TV series “Sister Wives” has just had its series finale recently and it seemed that Kody Brown and his polygamous family have survived their biggest challenge – the catfishing scandal of his first wife Meri.

During the tell-all special hosted by Erica Hill to wrap up the Season 7 of “Sister Wives,” it was clear that the Brown family, despite the hurdles and obstacles, managed to remain strong and standing still.

Which is why, it comes as a surprise that latest reports are now saying that Kody Brown is getting tired of all the drama being brought by his four wives, and that he is planning to dump all of them and get two new and younger ones, reports the Christian Today.

It seems that the reports or rumors are a complete deviation from the Season 7 finale of “Sister Wives” because Kody seemed very happy with the status of his polygamous family even in the aftermath of Meri’s catfishing scandal.

The same reports are also alluding that TLC is planning to cancel the TV series for its Season 8 especially if the 47-year-old Kody decides to sever his ties with his four wives, namely, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn.

Eyeing two and younger wives

In fairness to Kody, the statement did not come from him but from a family friend named Kendra Pollard.

In an interview with Pollard, she said that Kody does not want to keep dealing with his current wives because they have not been very supportive of him. It is for such reason that Kody allegedly is now planning to do the ultimate revenge by leaving all of them.

Pollard also disclosed that the two younger women whom Kody is eyeing to be his new wives are Amanda and Mindy Jessop, reports Yibada.

Amanda, who goes by the nickname of Amber, is a family friend of the Browns while Mindy is actually the step-niece of Robyn, who also used to babysit all of Kody’s 18 children with all his four wives.

Pollard said that the Browns have mingled with Amber on and off over the years but she is not sure if she is a legitimate love for Kody or is just meant for TV purposes. But she said that Kody would not do it. However, she also said that Kody has been hot on the wife topic again and that she is getting frustrated hearing all his gripes about his four wives.

The disclosure of Pollard, however, has yet to be confirmed by Kody or any other member of the Brown family, so it remains merely as speculations whose main goal is to hype the upcoming Season 8 of “Sister Wives.”

No plans of having another child in the family

The revelation of Pollard is also in stark contrast to the statements given by Kody Brown during the tell-all Season 7 finale interview he had with Erica Hill.

Kody had some juicy things to say during the interview with Erica including his plan to stop having children and Baby Ariella would be the last.

At 47 years old, Kody says he is old enough and having 18 children from four different wives is more than enough for him. He, however, said that it is not for him to decide but he assured that there is no pressure on his fourth and youngest wife Robyn Sullivan Brown to get pregnant again.

Sister Wives Season 6

It seems like Robyn’s recent pregnancy on Baby Ariella has affected the family dynamics because according to Kody, his fourth wife became rather outspoken and moody while she was pregnant causing the other sister wives to keep their distance from her because of her short fuse.

Kody also does not consider Meri’s online relationship with the catfisher Jackie Overton as an emotional affair.

He attributed it to their legal divorce in September last year that left an emotional gap between him and Meri.
