It has also been rumored that the next iPhone would have a new mobile operating system which seems likely if indeed Apple would be unveiling the iOS 9 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2015 to be held on June 8.
According to rumors, the iPhone 7 would sport a 4.7-inch screen and its expected big brother, the iPhone 7 Plus, will have a 5.5-inch display. Both will be rounded and will sport an aluminum chassis and shall exude a very slim profile. Typical colors, just like its predecessors, will be silver, gold, and slate grey. There is a rumor going around that Apple may decide on introducing a fourth color option and that it is reportedly going to be rose gold finish, which is patterned after the Apple Watch.
It has been said that iPhone 7 would be lighter because Apple will be using a stronger sapphire glass and more durable liquidmetal materials on its next iPhone.
