There is something about celebrities that do not go out in public all the time and them being more famous than those that are out and about every day getting photographed. It might be something like collectible cards. The more there are on the market, the less valuable they are, however, that one or two cards that is very hard to find, becomes very valuable. That is the same with celebrities and Sia is certainly a part of the reclusive group that stays in the shadows.
Sia was recently on the Saturday Night Live show performing a couple of her songs and it was not easy to see her face during the presentations. That might have been a part of the performance, but it created a buzz so loud on the internet that week, people could not figure out what the reason behind it was. The singer is seeing plenty of success and it can be attributed to airplay by radio stations and the popular music videos that are posted all over the internet.
Her latest album debut at #1 and she watched as her single, “Chandelier” cruised to become a multi-platinum international success. The Grammy Awards were also keeping an eye on Sia and because of that, she earned four nominations. Even though she has been nominated, there are a few reports online stating that Sia is not sure if she will attend the big show or not. Her manager has been talking to media outlets this week and still does not know if she is going to attend to accept her possible award.
If the ARIA Music Awards are anything to use as a gauge for the Grammy’s, she is not going to attend. The Australian singer did not attend the awards show in her own country, so why would she attend the Grammy’s? At the ARIA Music Awards, Sia won five awards and of those including Album of the Year. Like many other artists that do not go to the awards shows, she filmed an acceptance speech, but hers starred the comedian, Carrot Top.
So, as it would seem, the popular singer is just about everywhere that you turn, yet you cannot see her all that much. She stays in the shadows and does not really like to be known as famous. Instead, the fame is making her nervous and feel “really uncomfortable” according to at least one online source. Taking part in a few projects that were in the Top 10, Sia has slowly crept up to be this famous and everyone loves her.
