The figures gave NBC the impetus to cancel the show for Season 2 after leaving the fans and Cerone hanging for its fate on the network.
“Constantine,” just like “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “iZombie” and the upcoming “Legends of Tomorrow” are all DC Comics property.
But unlike the four other series, “Constantine” is now left without a home network although reports have it that its producers and studio Warner Bros Television continue to look around.
There is a niche market and long-term future for “Constantine” not only among fans but also among the show’s actors and other celebrities who believe in the show and are even willing to guest on it for its second season if given the opportunity to do so.
