One interesting detail that was revealed about the upcoming episode 2 was that Ian is apparently going to be suspicious of someone in his circle close to Caleb.
This could potentially lead up to the plot where Ian gets killed if the rumors are true, but it could also be a completely innocent part of the episode that fans are misinterpreting. Considering how much we’ve heard about the show in the form of rumors so far, it’s not strange at all that fans are trying to put some odd pieces together right now.
But as any TV fan should know full well, it can be pretty dangerous to follow those constant rumors and treat them as truth by default.
This can quickly lead to disappointment in the long run when it turns out that the rumors were in fact false from the beginning, and those who’ve already gone through that pain know how it feels like. The others will likely keep following those rumors until they also reach a similar situation.
For now, we should just focus on what’s happening in the current episodes of “Shameless”, and if the producers really are planning some major negative developments for this season, so be it. It doesn’t have to be the end of the show, after all.
