Shades Of Blue Season 2 Shoot Interrupted By Nearby Gun-Shots, Jennifer Lopez Urges Fans To Wait For The Premiere, More Details!

Shades of Blue is all about cops and crime scenes, and the popular NBC show got a glimpse of their reel-life in real. The team was shooting for Shades of Blue Season 2 in Brooklyn when they heard gunshots and witnessed criminal activities.

Lead actress, Jennifer Lopez had packed up for the day and wasn’t present on the sets during the incident. However, there were other actors present on the set located in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.

According to Just Jared, a group of men was brawling near the sets. Suddenly six gunshots were heard. The police and security personnel were in the vicinity, but they couldn’t catch the suspects since the men ran away.

It looked like the situation was under control, but things turned worse when an unidentified suspect chased two crew members. The suspect even tried to enter the trailer of one of the cast members. The situation was soon brought under control.

NYPD reported that the gunshots were fired in the street close to where Shades of Blue Season 2 is filming. The NYPD were fast to respond and secured the area completely. No additional security was brought in.

Kathryn Kates was present on the sets when the suspected person entered the area. She spoke to Deadline about what had happened on the sets of the second season of Shades of Blue.

Kathryn Kates shared that she had a late call and was picked up from her apartment in the evening. Upon reaching the set, she found out about the gun shots. Things were normal, and she was getting ready in her trailer when there was commotion outside.

Someone started banging on her trailer door, and female voices requested for them to open the door. Kathryn Kate was working on her wardrobe with Tracey, and they locked the trailer door from inside.

The police immediately escorted Kathryn Kate to a trailer closer to the set and secured the whole location. Jim McKay, the director of Shades of Blue Season 2, along with David DeClerque, the producer, decided to cancel the final scene for the night. The scene was supposed to be shot outside and had Warren Kole in it.

The rest of the schedule went as planned and the shoot wrapped up around 11 pm.

The team of Shades of Blue Season 2 might have had their schedule disrupted because of the sudden gunfire, but they went back on track from the following day. Jennifer Lopez was present on the set early next day.

She had her scenes with Sarah Jeffery, and both the actresses were seen shooting for the upcoming season of Shades of Blue.

International Business Times reported that Jennifer Lopez shared a creepy photo from the sets of Shades of Blue Season 2. Lopez uploaded the photo on her Instagram account, and it shows her character, Harlee Santos staring at a distance.

Santos’s eyes are wide open, and she has an intense look on her face. Lopez had previously shared that the new season will see someone coming after Harlee Santos and this might be her reaction when she comes face to face with her nemesis.

There is another photo from the sets of the NBC series. It showed Ray Liotta and Michael Wozniak wearing their trademark blue polo shirt and khaki jacket. Jennifer Lopez, on the other hand, was wearing an all-black outfit with a khaki coat.
