A picture says a thousand words and Selena Gomez may have said aplenty when she posted on Instagram on New Year’s Eve of a forlorn-looking her gazing out of her hotel bedroom in Dubai.
She posted her sad-looking picture along with a bible verse culled from Philippians 3:14.
Selena Gomez celebrated the New Year with her girlfriends in a luxurious vacation in Dubai but her mind may seem to be wandering elsewhere, reports Hollywood Life.
Somewhere where there is the person named Justin Bieber, whom Selena shared an on-again, off-again romance for the entire 2014.
But Justin Bieber is now in the arms of Hailey Baldwin although both of them have yet to admit that they are a couple.
The two have reportedly celebrated New Year’s Eve in Turks & Caicos but before speculations starts swirling around about a prospering romance, Justin and Hailey were actually with his mom Pattie Mallette.
On second thought, this scenario may even hurt Selena Gomez all the more as this may actually imply to her that Justin’s mom consents to his son’s relationship with Hailey.
There was also an unconfirmed report that somebody has seen Justin and Hailey kissing while they were riding jet skis.
‘Chance encounter’
Two days after Christmas, Selena went to her tanning salon, Luxury Tan & Makeovers, in Calabasas, and saw Justin there as she walked through the studio’s doors.
She was nearly caught off-guard by the ‘chance encounter’ as she was actually wearing her ex-boyfriend’s clothes when she entered the tanning salon. Good thing for Selena, it was not the real Justin who was there but the one being shown only on TV, details Hollywood Life in another report.
Had she walked in and met the real Justin Bieber while wearing his clothes, that would surely send chills to both of them for sure.
Selena went to the tanning salon in preparation for her Dubai vacation for her New Year respite with her girlfriends. When she walked in, Justin Bieber was on TV as an old episode of the MTV show “Ridiculousness” with Rob Dyrdek is being shown.
The songstress was later quoted by salon staff as saying that Justin looked so cute and young in the TV show.
Having fun
After arriving in Dubai on December 29, Selena even posted on Instagram a happy picture of her with Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid having a blast in the Arab state. They were also joined by Cody Simpson’s Gigi’s boyfriend, and Devon Windsor.
That is why, it became a wonder that one day after showing the entire social media that she was having fun celebrating New Year’s Eve with friends, Selena subsequently posted the sad-looking image of her staring outside from her hotel bedroom window.
Whether she was missing Justin Bieber or was thinking something or someone else, Selena Gomez was surely not happy in the picture.
