Those recent events pretty much dimmed any hopes of the two young music celebrities getting back together again.
But the NBC network was not about to give up on the prospect of reuniting Justin and Selena if only for a show. And that actually triggered speculation that the two will be coming into the singing competition reality show “The Voice” for its Season 9 which will return to the air next month.
It was confirmed later on that Selena Gomez will be coming into the show as mentor for the team of Gwen Stefani but the report on Justin also getting into the show as one of the four celebrity judges proved to be false. No one from Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams will be giving up their red chair for Season 9 of “The Voice.”
The only change in the roster of celebrity judges for the show is that of Gwen Stefani, who came back to replace Christina Aguilera, who temporarily filled in for her during Season 8.
There have been rumors about Justin Bieber reuniting with Selena Gomez on “The Voice” which began after reports came out that the show producers wanted to bring in younger viewers.
