Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have not been a couple for nearly two years already but it seems that the connection will always be there, regardless whether each one is dating a different person.
It seems to be the case with the 23-year-old songstress when she said in an interview recently that she likes being on a concert tour because it keeps her mind off from Justin Bieber, reports the Hollywood Life.
Apparently, whenever she is not busy or not working, Selena is keeping tabs on whatever Justin Bieber is doing, indicating that she cares for her former on-again, off-again boyfriend.
It seems that the fan adulation for Selena during her concert tours is more than enough for her to keep Justin out of her head and not be tempted on checking up on him occasionally, through indirect avenues.
Selena Gomez says her concert tour has been a therapeutic thing for her because she loves not being able to miss Justin and not being bored and text Justin just to while away her free time.
Hardly felt a thing at all
In fact, because of her hectic concert schedule, Selena Gomez did not feel as much of a sting when the “Sorry” singer was recently spotted having a date with hot blonde actress Nicola Peltz.
The 21-year-old was seen in “Transformers” and she and the Biebs were spotted at Mastro’s Steakhouse on May 25. It so happened that the place used to be the favorite of Selena and Justin when they were still together. So it must have hurt Selena real bad if she was not on a concert tour at that time.
Selena has been performing in sold out shows across the US and Canada and has been feeling so much love from her fans that it makes her cry with emotions when she performs.
However, some critics believe that her emotions may have something to do with the knowledge that Justin Bieber may have already moved on and is now dating a beautiful blonde girl in Nicola.
Enjoyed the date
According to reports, Justin already had a crush on Nicola long ago so when they finally dated, he really enjoyed it a lot.
The “I’ll Show You” singer reportedly wants to settle down and have a relationship soon because he feels that something steady would be good for him.
Justin met Nicola at The Nice Guy restaurant in West Hollywood a few weeks ago where he got her phone number. He eventually asked her out and Nicola agreed. The two went mini-golfing last week and were subsequently snapped at while having dinner at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills, reports Hollywood Take.
Those who have seen the pair during their date narrated that the Biebs walked out of the car and opened the door for Nicola like a gentleman. They got out and walked in onto the restaurant.
However, one source claimed the singer and the actress are still not a couple when they dated, which according to Bieber, he intends to change very soon.
If Selena is thinking of Justin when she’s not doing anything, it looks like Justin is also doing the same when he’s not too busy or not dating someone.
In fact, Justin Bieber got jealous of the recently leaked photos of Selena Gomez and 39-year-old actor Orlando Bloom during their recent encounter at Las Vegas showing plenty of PDAs.
Since he has no way of relieving the apparent jealousness in him, Justin Bieber reportedly vented out his frustration at fans.
He has banned fans from taking photos with him as he was obviously upset and he did not know how to deal with the situation.
A source close to the Biebs disclosed that whenever Justin is upset over Selena, he goes into a meltdown mode. The “Good for You” singer is really the reason why he has been lashing out at his fans recently. The 22-year-old “Sorry” singer was obviously hurting.
Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom were spotted at an after-party at the Light nightclub in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas where they were not able to keep their hands to themselves.
