While Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber may be dating different people these days, their throngs of fans still nurture hopes that their idols would eventually end up with each other.
Selena Gomez is currently dating One Direction band member Niall Horan and it seems that they are taking their relationship to the next level.
Justin Bieber, on the other hand, has been rumored to be dating the elder Kourtney Kardashian, before the 22-year-old singer posted a picture on his Instagram early last month showing him and model Hailey Baldwin kissing.
The Biebs has been very vocal about his feelings for Selena and has been furious upon getting the news that Niall Horan has gifted Selena with his favorite white T-shirt for the “Good for You” singer to sleep on whenever she thinks of him.
It was clear that Justin Bieber was jealous although he has no right to be since he and Selena Gomez have long broken up late in 2014.
As for Selena, she was also disappointed upon learning that Justin was reportedly dating Kourtney, calling the relationship as incestuous since her former boyfriend is already like family to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, details the International Business Times.
While both of them have not been saying anything public about their feelings for one another, it seems that their actions speak a lot and clearly indicate that they still hold out feelings for one another. If they hardly care about the other, they should no longer be mindful of who the other one is dating and just focus on their current partners.
But apparently, it is not the case for both Justin and Selena. They still check up on each other whether on social media, the internet, or through friends. So they still want to have a say on the decision of the other when it comes to dating.
Selena’s worth
There are reports that some of the songs on Justin Bieber’s latest album titled “Purpose” are directed towards the 23-year-old songstress, particularly his chart-topping song “Sorry.”
But Selena reportedly wants nothing to have to do with Justin anymore and even instructed her current boyfriend Niall Horan not to entertain The Biebs’ challenge, pronouncements, or text messages asking for a meeting between the two of them man-to-man.
It can also be recalled that early last year, Selena also dated DJ Zedd but the reports started coming out that while she was dating him back then, she was still thinking about Justin all the time.
There were reports last year that Justin and Selena have gotten back together again after they were spotted strolling in LA and getting very cozy with one another. But it seems that it was short-lived because nothing came out of it.

There were reports last month that Justin was still holding on to his memories with Selena. In fact, that was his underlying motive when he posted a photograph on Instagram showing him and model Hailey Baldwin kissing, sparking dating rumors.
It was reported that the reason why Justin posted the photo was because he wanted Selena to see it because he wants to make “The Heart Wants What it Wants” singer to be jealous of him, the way he is of Niall Horan.
Although at this point, it seems that Selena is too caught up with her whirlwind romance with Niall Horan and is hardly noticing the motives of Justin Bieber on social media.
Unlike last year when Selena Gomez entered into a relationship with DJ Zedd, Justin Bieber seems to be at peace with the decision of his ex-girlfriend for a new guy.
