Since then, he has been besieged on Twitter by people who have been demanding to know about the release date. Well, people need to realize the fact that similar to The Winds of Winter by George R.R Martin, Roiland and Harmon don’t owe us anything, no show, no updates whatsoever.
We all know that creative work takes a certain amount of time and in the end, we all want them to get it right. However, there is no need for that since Harmon has been defending himself rather vociferously.
During a recent Twitter spat, Harmon got quite existential thanks to a rather obnoxious fan. The question was, “When’s that thing you’re getting paid for coming out? You know, Rick and Morty season 3?”. The multiple tweets as released by Harmon can be summarized as follows:
According to him, the interesting thing is that the guy found the time to tweet sub-Nickelodeon stand up to 11 followers even though he has at least and he is not exaggerating, at least 15 jobs fewer than him.
It begs the question; he responded to his soon-to-be-forgotten stranger that whether it was possible for him to perceive work and time along with value differently than him because that stranger isn’t him.
Meanwhile, the sheer volume of information available on Rick and Morty site indicates that there is a lot more than just a marketing team at work.
Stay tuned for more updates on Rick and Morty!
