On the other hand, it’s also claimed that the show is only loosely based on the life of Walter O’Brien and may not be entirely too focused on showing an accurate story. Some people seem to be watching it out of curiosity about Walter’s life though, so it would be a good idea for the writers to stick to a more realistic storyline.
That’s usually the biggest issue with a show based on a real character or event – unless there is a lot of interesting material in that event, the writers will have to start adding their own extra details to the story, but then they risk crossing the boundaries of realism.
Certain people have been criticizing “Scorpion” for some of the claims the show has made about Walter’s alleged life already, so the writers might want to tread carefully with their preparation for the next season.
Still, the show has been enjoying a solid viewer base and plenty of people are excited to see it returning for its next season. From the sound of everything we’re hearing so far, that season is shaping up to be a fantastic continuation to the story established in the first one. The hacking theme might be getting a bit clichéd lately, but “Scorpion” has added some interesting new angles to it.
