Samsung Gear S2’s Simplicity of Use Makes it Better than Apple Watch and Other Android Wear Smartwatches!

The Samsung Gear S2 comes in two design options. There is the Classic model which comes with a black bezel and black leather band. There is also the sportier base version, which comes with either a dark gray stainless-steel bezel and black rubberized band, or a silver stainless steel bezel with white band.

Both versions of the Samsung Gear S2 have the same 1.2-inch display which automatically comes to life when the user raises his wrist as if to check the time, just like the Apple Watch.

Accordingly, the biggest selling point of the Samsung Gear S2’s design is the fact that it looks and feels like a regular watch. It is not too bulky as the first Motorola Moto 360 was and it is very light in weight.

While it is still a bit too big for smaller women’s wrists, it would most likely fit most anyone else’s wrist.

Pairing the Samsung Gear S2 with a smartphone via Bluetooth would require the user to download a special app. For those who have a Samsung smartphone, they would need to download the Samsung Gear Manager app from the Galaxy App store.

Upon installation of the app, the user can turn on the watch, tap a Pair icon on the Gear Manager app and he is pretty much set from there. The same app can also enable the user to customize the S2’s watch faces, change notification settings, and find new Gear apps.
