Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Rumored to Come Out in the First Day of September Looking Like its Predecessor!

It could be just plain old rumors but if the speculations are true that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 would come out very much like its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S2, then the Korean tech giant may just have itself in trouble again in the international tablet market.

Apple has made a tremendous upgrade in the last two iterations of its tablet with the iPad Pro launched last year and the 9.7in iPad Pro unveiled in March this year.

Anything less than any of the iPad Pro devices that the American tech giant, would make Samsung second fiddle again to Apple the way it happened when the Korean tech company launched the half-baked Samsung Galaxy S5 in March 2015.

With its very little improvements compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S4, Apple was able to turn things around for its iPhone line, vis-à-vis Samsung’s flagship smartphone roster that it resulted to three successive quarters of profit decline in handset sales for the Korean tech company.

Thus, the reports saying that Samsung will be introducing very little improvements on the Galaxy Tab S3, its upcoming flagship tablet, would be a déjà vu for the Korean tech giant if it does not watch out.

First day of September release

According to the Christian Times, the design of the Galaxy Tab S3 will be somewhat similar to the Galaxy Tab S2 but the major difference is that upcoming flagship tablet from the Korean tech giant will be packed with the Android 7.0 Nougat mobile operating system.

There are also reports saying that the Galaxy Tab S3 shall be unveiled prior to the IFA 2016 event, which shall be held from September 2 to September 7.

Thus, the speculations are now rife that the tablet could launch on September 1. However, since Samsung has yet to make a confirmation or denial of the reports, it is still best to take the information with a pinch of salt.

The information came from reputable Russian tipster Eldar Murtazin when he recently tweeted about the purported release date of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.

But he did not disclose any details regarding the basis of his assumption, which makes his information suspect, notes the University Herald.

Advancements that Nougat shall bring

According to the latest reports, the Android Nougat shall come with the power to make instant replies to messages, which can be achieved by going to the notification window or through the multi-window.

In addition to the new and improved advancements, the Nougat shall also feature Doze-to-go which would ensure that the battery will remain as is when the device is not being used.

This also means that the Android 7.0 Nougat shall be launched by Google either in August or early in September, but thus far, the American software giant has yet to make an announcement regarding the successor of the Marshmallow.

As regards the features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, the upcoming flagship tablet from the Korean tech giant shall have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor under the hood, an internal storage option of 32GB or 64GB, and shall have a 3GB of RAM. It shall have a microSD card slot to allow for expansion.

There are also reports saying that the Galaxy Tab S3 might come out in September along with other flagship devices, which could be a reference to the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus more than any gadget from Samsung.

As to the external appearance of the Galaxy Tab S3, there has been a recent leak courtesy or renowned tipster Evan Blass who posted an image of the tablet on his Twitter account. But the photo was widely criticized for being a fake because of several details that seem not to match at all.

What seems certain at this point is that the Galaxy Tab S3 will certainly come out better than its predecessor in terms of design and features.

According to previous reports, the Galaxy Tab S3 shall come out with two variants – an 8-inch model and a 9.7-inch edition, similar to the sizes of an iPad mini and an iPad.
