According to Christian Today, Samsung would be releasing the Galaxy Tab S2 next month featuring specifications that are several notches better than its predecessor.
The device shall also come with the built-in fingerprint scanners for advanced security.
However, Latinos Post cited that the upcoming tablet from the Korean tech giant will likely hit the market in September and it will come with a retail price of $438 for the 8-inch version and $548 for the 9.7-inch variant.
Compared to the expected price of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and the rumored Apple iPad Pro, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is more affordable too, which would give it another advantage among consumers and tablet users.
There have also been rumors going around lately that Samsung is now working on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S Pro, which the company intends to directly pit with the rumored Apple iPad Pro.
While details have yet to be released on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S Pro, the device is rumored to be a larger version of the Galaxy Tab S and the upcoming Galaxy Tab S2. It is to be Samsung’s entry into the hybrid tablet and laptop market that is currently dominated by Microsoft’s Surface Pro lines.
