Samsung shall also be offering the 7-inch variant of the Galaxy Tab A (2016) in both Wi-Fi and LTE varieties. The Wi-Fi model will have the SM-T280 model number, while the LTE version will be SM-T285.
It has also been said that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) shall have a widescreen ratio of 16:10, which is far better than the 4:3 ratio found on last year’s models.
As far as the design of the device is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) shall reportedly look very much like its predecessor but it will have a more rectangular shape because its display is going to be widescreen. The device shall reportedly be offered in black and white color options.
The signature home button and capacitive buttons for back and tasks shall also be featured.
There are reports saying that the Galaxy Tab A (2016) will be launched soon or before the end of this year but there are also speculations stating that it could come out next year still, which is quite absurd considering the 2016 in the name of the tablet.
Based on leaks, the 7-inch model of the Galaxy Tab A shall reportedly have a retail price of $188 for the Wi-Fi model and about $244 for the LTE variant.
