Samsung Galaxy S8 Home Button to Be Buried in the Glass of the Handset in the Lower Section

Latest reports have it that the Samsung Galaxy S8 shall feature many bells and whistles including an edge display seen with the Galaxy S6 Edge and the Galaxy S7 Edge after the Korean tech giant’s fall from grace with the Galaxy Note 7.

There are also reports saying that the upcoming flagship smartphone from the Korean tech giant will also come out with pressure-sensitive technology, which Apple refers to its devices as Force Touch or 3D Touch on its iPhones.

A source inside the Korean tech giant disclosed that Samsung is looking to adopt Apple’s Force Touch technology partially for the Galaxy S8 but its full adoption would not happen until after a year or two later.

Based on what was seen with Apple iOS devices, Force Touch technology is based entirely around a pressure-sensitive display which enables an extra level of functionality based on how hard the user presses it.

The American tech giant has been using the technology since it launched the Apple iPhone 6S in 2015 and also in the Apple Watch and the recently-released 2016 Apple MacBook Pro.

Techno geeks are saying that the Galaxy S8 is actually an opportunity for Samsung to bounce back after the debacle caused by the Galaxy Note 7.

The upcoming flagship smartphone from the Korean tech giant also gives Samsung a chance to lure hesitant buyers back to the brand with exceptional technology and rock-bottom prices.
