Consistent with previous rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S8 shall be removing the Home button from the bottom of its upcoming flagship smartphone in favor of a digital onscreen Home button.
The removal of the feature would mean that the Samsung Galaxy S8 would have a full edge-to-edge display. More importantly, Samsung will be beating Apple to the draw in removing the Home button on its device because there are also rumors saying that the American tech giant would also remove the feature on its next iPhone in 2017.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 shall reportedly feature a 4K resolution featuring a 3840 x 2160 screen resolution. It would enable the Korean tech giant to market the smartphone as one of the sharpest screens of any mobile device and turns the smartphone into a suitable platform for the next generation of mobile VR.
The smartphone shall have seriously impressive features including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 octa-core processor at 3.2GHz with 6GB of RAM and a 64GB of internal storage that can still be expanded via a microSD card slot.
In addition, the handset shall reportedly have 2160 x 4096 or 4K resolution display, a 4,200 mAh battery, a retina and fingerprint scanners, wireless and fast-charging feature, and a mini-projector.
It shall reportedly have a 30-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 12-megapixel front-facing snapper.
