Samsung Galaxy S7 Will Be Ready for Launch Before the End of 2015, But Korean Tech Giant Will Still Unveil it in Early 2016

Samsung is set to launch its Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 this month so the testing may also be on these devices and can add to the confusion.

However, in a report by the Christian Post, it also cited that the testing being carried out by Samsung is for its Galaxy S series, which means that it can only be the Galaxy S7.

The most recent flagship smartphones from the Korean tech giant mostly had the Exynos chipset on it for processors so it is quite a surprise why the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor made it to the picture. However, the Snapdragon 820 chipset is reportedly one of the most, if not the most powerful processor in the market today.

Since Samsung is hyping the Galaxy S7 as better than the Galaxy S6 and all the other flagships that came out this year and will come out in the next few months, having the most powerful processor available is the way to go.

It has also been reported that Samsung is taking its sweet time testing the Samsung Galaxy S7 on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor more intensively since the company wants its upcoming flagship smartphone to be perfect when it comes out in the global markets next year.

  1. I am unsure if it would really be counterproductive to break the 1 year cycle of its flagships’ devices as those S6 sales seemingly aren’t going according to plan. Samsung denied formal that there were going to be price cuts as with the S5. Four months later, however, we have one and not a small one either so I guess it isn’t selling as hoped for and maybe it is better to patch the bleeding of the fourth sales quarter with the release of the S7. I remember it worked out great for LG who replaced the G3 just over 6 months after the G2.
I wonder when Samsung will show its cards but somehow I feel we are in for a bit of a surprise. Who knows, maybe that Christmas tree might become a very appealing time to look forward to ;)
