Samsung Galaxy S7 to Stick with Tried-and-Tested MicroUSB Connector Instead of USB Type-C Port!

It seems that for this year, the Korean tech company would no longer be splitting the launching of its flagships and drop it altogether.

The only caveat on the supposed upcoming move of Samsung is that the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be barely six months into the market when its successor comes out, which is likely to eat on its already limited market.

It is also possible that Samsung may have gotten wind of reports that Apple may finally decide to drop three flagship smartphones in a year beginning this year after rumors that it would happen last year never materialized.

Based on latest speculations, Apple is intent on launching the iPhone 7, the iPhone 7 Plus, and the iPhone 7C in September this year, and Samsung would like to put a headstart over the American tech giant on having three flagships in a year.

As expected, the main differentiating physical factor among the three upcoming Samsung flagship smartphones will be their respective screen sizes.

The base model, the Galaxy S7, shall reportedly have a flat 5.1-inch screen with no curved option. The Galaxy S7 Edge will have a bigger 5.5-inch screen but it would not be a flat screen. And the Galaxy S7 Edge+ will feature a 6-inch screen and shall be the only one in the lineup that shall have two screen options.
