Samsung’s plan to somehow steal the thunder on the latest Apple iPhones by launching the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ in August or weeks before the official unveiling of the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus on September 9 did not work as planned as the new iPhones practically came out of the market like a rampaging waters from a broken dam.
With the implementation of Plan A not giving a positive result, Samsung has no other recourse but to go with its Plan B, or its fallback plan, which involves the immediate launching of the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Given that Samsung is now using a speedier development methodology for the Galaxy S7 compared to the waterfall methodology it used in the past years, the Korean tech giant is very capable of launching its new flagship smartphone before the end of the year.
But Samsung is not about to because the Galaxy S7 would also eat up on the market of the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S6 Edge, and the Galaxy S6 Edge+, all released this year.
Samsung normally launches its flagship smartphones during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event held in Barcelona, Spain during the first week of March of every year. But the MWC 2016 will be held late in February 2016 so everyone is already expecting that the Korean tech giant will launch its Galaxy S7 by then.
