The Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored to have various improvements over its predecessor, and it will supposedly try to really push the line forward and bring the Galaxy brand into a new era. We’ve been hearing various claims in this regard so far, but we don’t really have any concrete information about the full picture of what Samsung are planning. Still, there have been various rumors about some of their goals with the development of the Galaxy S7, and they’ve recently unveiled something that drew a lot of attention from tech lovers, even though it wasn’t specifically linked to the phone.
It looks like the company has been working on a new type of camera, and it will have Britecell technology that should make pictures taken with it even more impressive. This new type of sensor will allow users to take much more adequate shots in low light conditions, and there will not be that much distortion in the image compared to original smartphone sensors. Usually, there is quite a lot of noise on pictures taken in low light, but this device will approach the problem in a different way that allows for an impressive solution.
Whether or not the Galaxy S7 will feature this new sensor is still under question, but some fans are not even wondering about it – they are already convinced that we’re going to see the new camera in the S7. It should do quite a lot for the Galaxy brand, especially when it comes to its position on the market against other big names, as it’s no secret that Samsung have had a lot of competition lately and the company might lose their prominent position eventually if they don’t put some effort into “wowing” their fans.
With a camera like this, the Galaxy S7 could definitely be an attractive device on the smartphone market, even for people who don’t normally take lots of pictures with their phone. It’s still a nice addition to the device that will make it useful in certain situations where the user might want to snap something but the light isn’t good enough, and this range of people could even include businessmen and students. So in all likelihood, the feature is going to enjoy some attention on the market.
Other than that, a lot about the device’s hardware is still under speculation and we don’t know what Samsung are really planning for it. It’s possible that it could be an extremely powerful smartphone, according to some rumors, although on the other hand Samsung might also be planning to take it easy and risk-free with this release and do something safer. They can easily solidify their market positions by releasing something with good specifications but not any major groundbreaking features, and it might not even be such a bad idea right now.
