Still, the Galaxy Note 7 seems to be an upcoming hit in many regards, and we expect this phone to generate a lot of discussion over the next few months. We would also expect Samsung to keep actively releasing software updates for it for the time being, which should benefit their users on other devices too.
Most notably the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, which arequite close to the Note 7 in this regard, so many of the new improvements introduced by the company are shared between the three. This should continue for a while, although it’s also possible that the phones might start diverging in features at some point, especially if Samsung decide to utilize the hardware of the Note 7 in even more special ways.
We’re also noticing that Samsung seem to be moving in a similar direction with their UI/UX design as most other popular manufacturers nowadays, which is certainly a good sight, especially compared to their previous solutions.
This should put an end to the complaints that their interfaces tend to look messy, especially if they decide to fully embrace the modern trends of flat colors, simple shapes and smooth animations. It’s obvious that their designers are already moving in this direction to some extent.
