Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge Keep Korean Tech Giant’s Smartphone Sales Advantage in the US over Apple!

As part of its contribution to toast the upcoming Rio Olympics, Samsung is said to be working on the Olympic Edition of the Samsung Galaxy S7 which would most likely come out and have its limited run beginning this month until the end of the Olympic Games late in August.

Reports have it that the smartphone is now in development and it shall feature Olympic apps along with some Olympic VR content.

Evan Blass, a reputable leakster, even posted a render of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Olympic Edition that comes with Olympic symbols stamped on the rear and appearing as a restart message on the phone’s screen.

Based on the render, the Galaxy S7 Olympic Edition’s buttons, cameras, and flash have been outlined with blue and yellow colors and the speaker grille has been entirely colored too.

Meanwhile, the dual-SIM version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 is getting a discount in the US. The flagship of the Korean tech giant is now being retailed for $540, which is a good $25-$35 off from its prices over at Amazon, which is being retailed from $565 to $575.

The discounted Galaxy S7 is the G930FD model, which covers the LTE bands of all major US carriers.
