There is not many people that are going to argue with you about how Samsung has taken over the mobile world over the last few years. The company makes computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, smartwatches, televisions, surround sound systems and so much more! Over the last five or six years now, Samsung has been giving the smartphone world something to think about if they were holding a smartphone from Apple. The Galaxy line of smartphones are top notch and have been the closet things to beating the iPhone that has been released.
Granted, Apple does make a quality product and sells it one million times over, but Samsung has its own following. The following as been growing with each release of the next Galaxy smartphone. The latest model, the Samsung Galaxy S6, has been out on the market for some time now and it has been very popular among those that have upgraded to a smartphone for the first time.
There is even a small number of consumers that have switched from Apple’s iPhone and the iOS operating system over to Android and the Samsung Galaxy S6. With the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung also released the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Samsung Galaxy S6 Active for those that need a more rugged phone. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is one that has a display that reaches out beyond the side of the smartphone and might have been considered more of a novelty by most, still selling hundreds of thousands of units.
Now that the Samsung Galaxy S6 has been out on the market for a little while, it is being compared to many other devices to show consumers the good things and the bad things of the device. In most cases, a smartphone comparison shows two smartphones from two different companies, but in one posted recently the reviewer compared the Samsung Galaxy S6 to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Both being from the same company, one would assume there would be little to criticize, but that is not the case.
As with any other comparison review, both of them have good things and bad things about them. Right out of the gate, the display size was measured up. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has the 5.1-inch display, while the Galaxy Note 5 has the 5.7-inch option and for some, that might be just to large for one hand operation. Before you know it, the comparison starts to look very similar until you get to the amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has 3GB of RAM, which is a lot these days, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has 4GB of RAM, making it one of the fastest smartphones on the market.
