Is it worth keeping an eye on the new Galaxy? That’s arguable, and it depends mostly on what the user currently has as their main device. Those who’re already happy with their Android phone should probably stick to it.
But those who’re looking for a new device might find the launch of the Galaxy S6 note+ to have the perfect timing. The phone does offer a nice combination of features for what is going to be an acceptable price, and it’s a good high-end device that should justify its asking price.
The only thing that we don’t know is if it will be of any help at all to Samsung and their market position right now. The company is starting to get in trouble, and they need to act soon if they want to get over that period.
There is still a lot of potential in them, that’s true – but their next few launches are going to be of particular importance, as the company will have to reestablish a position on the market and keep defending it once competitors start coming out with their own new releases. It’s going to be an interesting period over the next few months for smartphone lovers, that’s for sure, and we’re curious how the market is going to transform.
