Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge Under AT&T Get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow Rather Belatedly!

These users know for a fact that making sure that their devices are running the latest available software is a good housekeeping practice because it ensures that their gadgets have the latest features with fewer bugs and gaping security holes.

Just like the previous updates, the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow came to the former flagship devices of Samsung over-the-air and brought enhancements and fixes.

For Samsung Galaxy S6 users under T-Mobile who have yet to receive the latest Marshmallow update, they need to have their devices connected to Wi-Fi and must have 50% battery life. The update actually removes Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp as a pre-installed app so users need to download them again from the Google Play Store.

Samsung may have unveiled its latest flagship smartphones for this year, the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, but the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge certainly had a good run as great flagships from the Korean tech giant.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is undoubtedly and unarguably the Android smartphone to beat for the entire 2015 and it seems that there was yet a handset to beat it up until the unveiling of the Galaxy S7 before the start of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 on February21.

Because of its worldly looks and top-notch specifications and features, the Galaxy S6 has been regarded by critics as impressive and really has the lock on the best Android smartphone last year.
