Samsung Galaxy S5 Refurbished and Unlocked 16GB Version Gets a Killer Discount at Amazon!

With the recent launching of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge during the Samsung Unpacked event before the start of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 at Barcelona, Spain late in February, the pressure was on the Korean tech giant to also roll out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates on its other smartphones that are less than two years old.

American carrier T-Mobile recently stated that the Marshmallow update to the Galaxy S5 shall come the way it has done so with the Galaxy S6 and the other 2015 smartphones and tablets of Samsung.

Samsung’s 2014 flagship smartphone came with a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It has a remarkable pixel density of 432 ppi, notes the Day Herald.

The Galaxy S5 also came in four different color variants including copper gold, charcoal black, electric blue, and shimmery white.

The handset is both waterproof and dustproof and has an IP67 rating towards such features. It is water-resistant up to a depth of one meter under water for a period of 30 minutes.

It also features the standard set of connectivity including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, Infrared, and also NFC, which enables users to take advantage of payment services like Samsung Pay and Android Pay.
