Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Speculations Run Wild as Fans and Critics Discuss What They Want to See in the Next Device!

Not much is known about the next entry in Samsung’s Galaxy Note line, but fans of the company are expecting great innovations once the phone hits the market – which should supposedly happen this year. And as usual in the absence of official details, people have been talking a lot about their desired features for the next device and how they would like Samsung to change their direction with the development of the line as a whole.

The Galaxy Note has always been a more special line of smartphones, aimed at people with an increased desire for productivity on the go, and they offer various features that can easily turn them into a portable workstation. So it should come as no surprise that the majority of requests for the next installment in the line are focused on those specific features, and fans want to see the company focusing on usability and productivity above all.

The battery of the device would most probably have to be improved if it’s an upgrade in departments like screen size and processor speed, as the 3,000 mAh unit in the Galaxy Note 5 was relatively adequate for the device’s requirements, but that could change with the new entry in the line if it comes with better hardware. Considering that this is a phone that’s supposed to prioritize functionality and productivity above everything else, it would make sense for Samsung to make sure that users can keep enjoying those features for longer without any interruption.

One of the most notably absent features in the previous editions of the device was a microSD slot. While it’s expected that Samsung will once again release the device in multiple variants with different storage capabilities, offering the ability to expand that memory with a memory card is a major advantage for those who value their productivity with a smartphone. It’s not just about expanded storage either, as a microSD card can allow for easy transfer of files between devices, which is exactly what owners of a phone like the Note would want to see.

On that note, it would also be good to see the phone coming out with a 128 GB variant from the start this time, as opposed to the last edition when users had to wait extra for that, and it only arrived in certain markets.

Other than that, people are expecting Samsung to play around with the interface of the phone and possibly make it more intuitive to use, especially if they decide to keep the idea of the S Pen. The stylus input received mixed responses at first but in the end people got to love it – or at least some parts of the fan base of Samsung – so it would make sense for them to continue this idea and do something even more advanced with it. We are not sure what Samsung’s plans are for this aspect of the phone, but we suspect that this depends heavily on what people are saying about it.

And a quick glance through those discussions is enough to give the idea that people would love to see a stylus in the new phone as well, at least if there are some advancements in its technology, so Samsung should take notes and keep evolving the concept. We certainly are curious where this could end up with some more additions to the core idea.
