Samsung Galaxy J7 is Still One of the Better Performing and More Affordable Midrange Smartphones Today!

There were plenty of mid-range handsets that rolled out to the global smartphone retail markets last year but the Samsung Galaxy J7 and the Galaxy J5 were two of the more memorable ones because of their excellent and fluid performances and affordability, price-wise.

Consumers of the Samsung Galaxy J7 were mostly one in saying that the handset is an awesome phone with its good performance, good camera, and good battery life, notes NDTV Gadgets.

Although it is a mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy J7 does not come cheap. But it certainly offers features and specifications that are certainly worth more than its retail price.

Users certainly cannot go wrong with the Galaxy J7 because it has the best battery life among other mid-range smartphones in the market today.

It has a display that is big enough for consuming media, reading, browsing, and social networking, as well as double the storage than that of the Galaxy J5.

It also comes at a time when features like removable batteries and expandable storage are being set aside in favor of elegant metal designs. The Galaxy J7 is one of the few decent Samsung smartphones that consumers will find in the market that sets out to please everyone and manages to do just that.

Easy to decipher

The nomenclature of the Samsung Galaxy J7 is very easy to decipher as J is basically meant for its affordable price while 7 is for its big screen.

It is actually the lite version of the pricier Galaxy A7 and offers semi-premium features. The smartphone also resembles the Galaxy E7 Plus, which is almost a high-end smartphone already, note GSM Arena.

The Galaxy J7 sports attention-grabbing features, highlighted by its 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with an impressive 1280 x 720-pixel resolution.

Given its huge display, the smartphone has become suited for playing games, taking pictures, watching videos, in addition to its usual function as a communication device first and foremost.

The mid-range handset is powered by a 64-bit octa core processor. It is one of the latest smartphones of today that puts more focus on the screen size rather than the resolution.

It is regarded as one of the best mid-range smartphones in the market now. More than its affordability, the device has also brought back the confidence of midrange smartphone users to Samsung.

Given its high-end technical features and capabilities, the Galaxy J7 is actually a great smartphone that comes with a reasonable price.

In fact, for its price range and features, it is certainly the best in its category. The good news for users is that the Galaxy J7 is from Samsung so they can be sure of the quality. For its great features and classy look at its relatively bargain price, it is quite a real investment too

The smartphone is also drawing rave reviews for its generous and removable 3,000 mAH battery, something that was missing from the high-end flagship smartphones of Samsung. Unlike other smartphones, it also does not have over-heating problems.

The downsides

As for the downsides, when Samsung released the Galaxy J7 and the Galaxy J5 in June of last year, both have been positioned as 4G LTE smartphones but it turned out, both smartphones have variants that do not support LTE, which is a disappointment to a good number of users.

Eventually, some consumers realized that the Galaxy J7 model that runs on the Exynos 7580 processor is not LTE-capable and the variant that features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 is the one that has LTE connectivity.

There are also users who claim that another downside to the Galaxy J7 is its poor sound quality, especially when a headset is used. However, overall, the upsides far outweigh the downsides to the Galaxy J7 which means that consumers are still getting their money’s worth for it.
