When it comes to getting the most out of your smartphone, Samsung is a great place to start as the company has been nailing the production of such devices for the last few years. Bringing features that consumers can use every day and developing software that works well with Android and keeps users happy. If there is one company that can take on Apple in terms of sales, it is Samsung. The company just keeps releasing new devices and most of them are available worldwide.
The latest device to come from Samsung is the Samsung Galaxy J7. This week, Samsung announced the device along with the J5 to the public and just like it has many times before, the company is going to shake things up a little bit. Other than the device coming with Android Lollipop 5.1 pre-installed, the phone comes with 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for expansion.
The features do not stop there, in fact the Samsung Galaxy J7 is bringing a common feature found on many other devices to the front of the phone. The front side of the Samsung Galaxy J7 has a 5MP camera, which is pretty good compared to other models, but the LED flash on the front side is likely to get the most attention. An LED flash has been moved to the front and now you can take those selfies with a flash, making for easier to see images and better video.
The device is one that has a 5.5-inch touch screen display with a 720p resolution, which is a little behind the times, but normal for devices that are secondary to the flagships that Samsung releases. Most of the time, when features are below average, that is the reason the for a more affordable price. The phone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU with a 3,000mAh battery that should get you all day usage depending on what you are doing with it. Samsung does a great job of opening the doors to new users by offering plenty of options that keep you wanting more.
As with most of the devices that Samsung develops, the Samsung Galaxy J7 will come in a variety of colors including black, white and gold. For now, it looks like the phone is going to be released in China first as it has dual-SIM support and LTE connectivity it could be used elsewhere, but there is no indication that it will be available in the United States anytime soon. In many cases, the “watered down” versions from Samsung are available in emerging markets and never make it to the larger markets in the world.
