Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) Gets a Strong Competition in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 at the Same Price Point!

Early this year, Samsung launched the 2016 editions of its popular Galaxy J series phones – the Galaxy J7 and the Galaxy J5. But a Galaxy J1 was already launched in December of last year.

Both the Galaxy J7 (2016) and the Galaxy J5 (2016) hit the retail markets in April some three months before its respective predecessors complete the customary one-year market cycle.

The Galaxy J7 (2016) is already expected to run away with the title of the most trending smartphone for this year which was the same title earned by its predecessor last year.

However, for some reason, the Korean tech giant is quietly launching a Galaxy C series smartphones beginning with the Galaxy C5 this month.

The Galaxy C5 is actually slimmer and lighter compared to the Galaxy J7 (2016) but the design of the former appears to be quite controversial as it imitates the Apple iPhones and HTC’s flagship smartphones.

The newcomer mid-range smartphone also has a metal body but it has curved edge back featuring two horizontal lines at the top and bottom, which is not an original design idea.

For some reason, Samsung has made the design, capabilities, and features of the Galaxy C5 almost identical to the Galaxy J7 (2016) which means that one might eat up on the market of the other especially when they go head-to-head in the market.
