Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro Is A Well-Performing Gentle Giant, When Will Android 7.0 Nougat Be Released To Samsung Devices? Let’s See

With all the new phones releasing, people are wondering when the latest Android OS from Google will be released on the current smartphones. Regarding software updates, Samsung sadly lags behind rival manufacturers like HTC and Motorola.

Samsung started releasing Android Marshmallow OS to its devices in February, which took place months after the devices from Motorola, Google Nexus, and HTC started receiving it. However, it is expected that the company will start rolling it all the eligible devices, earlier than users can expect.

Sadly, the list of devices to receive this update hasn’t been confirmed by Samsung. According to The Korea Times, a report claimed that it will come to the Galaxy Note 7, before being released on other devices like the S6, S6 Edge, Note 5, S6 Active, S6 Edge+, Galaxy S7, S6 Iron Man Edition, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Active, S7 Active, S7 Batman edition, and S7 Olympic edition.

The premium devices from Samsung will probably start receiving the Nougat update from November. Google released the new firmware a lot earlier, compared to past years.

Meanwhile, it is expected that Nougat 7.0 OS will come to other devices like Galaxy A9, Galaxy A9 Pro, Galaxy A7 (2015), Galaxy A7 (2016), Galaxy J5 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy Tab S2, Galaxy A8, Galaxy On7, Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7.
