Ruth Kearney Reportedly Getting Married to Theo James, Changing the Tone of Rumors about the Actor!

Theo James got a lot out of his role in “Divergent”, perhaps more than he bargained for. While the actor’s role shot his popularity through the roof and resulted in a lot of fame for him, this seems to have backfired to some extent, as he ran into certain issues with his popularity and the side effects that followed it. More specifically, the actor suddenly found himself surrounded by various rumors, some of which were not very harmless and would probably drive most normal people up the walls.

More specifically, Theo James was rumored to be dating his on-screen partner Shailene Woodley, with whom he had a great chemistry during his work on “Divergent”, leading many fans to believe that the two are getting along very well off the screen too. And while it did seem like the two actors had a special friendship going on between them, there was no indication on the public side of things that they were in any sort of inappropriate relationship, and this was just the subject of rumors in the end.

“Inappropriate”, because it would have been quite insulting to the respective partners of both actors if that was actually true, and it would have caused a big controversy in the celebrity world, one that would surely be a major blow to the popularity of them both. With that in mind, some “fans” seemed even more determined to dig up dirt on the two actors, and to paint them in a way that made it look like they were dating.

Theo James denied the rumors, as did Shailene Woodley, and while the two actors remained on friendly terms, there were some reports that this incident had driven a wedge between them and they were slightly less friendly towards one another at this point. We don’t know if that’s true or not, and we certainly don’t expect the rumor to be confirmed one way or the other, so it will remain a point of speculation for fans.

But with the recent announcement that Theo James is about to get married to Ruth Kearney, the rumors about the actor can probably finally be put to rest for good. It’s quite obvious that he’s dedicated to his current relationship if he wants to take it to the next level, and we don’t expect to keep hearing a lot about his controversy with Shailene Woodley anytime soon. On the other hand, some fans have been very happy about this development, claiming that the actor is surely making the right move by choosing to marry his girlfriend.

Of course, there will still be a few fans who will be thirsty for drama and will want to keep spreading the malicious rumors about the two actors, but at least those rumors will be far less plausible now with the talks of a wedding coming up, and with the couple about to start preparing for their big day.

That’s just the nature of a celebrity’s life for the most part, and sometimes rumors will come up that a famous person can do nothing about, especially when they are based on made up facts that can’t be proved or disproved, or really talked about in any sensible way. And it often happens that the bigger a person’s status is, the more attractive target they are to the people who like to spread those rumors, so the situation is often not very easy at all for someone under the spotlight.
