When director Tim Miller stepped down, Deadpool 2 experienced some difficulties. It took place due to certain creative differences between Ryan Reynolds and Miller.
This caused fans to start panicking but thankfully John Wick director David Leitch, stepped in. The dust settled and everyone seemed to agree that what Miller wanted was a splashier and bigger sequel which would demand more Fox money.
After exiting the Deadpool franchise, Tim Miller broke his silence for the first time. He conveyed the message to the geek audience because it was important to him as to what the geeks and nerds of the world are thinking since he considers them to be his brothers and sisters. He said that he didn’t want to make a popular/stylish movie that was 3 times the earlier budget.
It was never confirmed by Reynolds himself that his vision of Deadpool 2 was kind of bloated. Sadly, rumors that were spread by The Wrap, were considered to be true. Miller said that they were entirely wrong.
Recently, he said on a podcast that he wanted to make the same kind of movie that he made last time. He still thinks that this is exactly the right kind of movie to be made for the character. He asked people not to believe what they read on the internet because he wanted to do that exact same thing.
