- Ensure that the smartphone is rooted before you try to install the Custom ROM.
- Custom ROM installation techniques require you to remove your smartphone’s data. Users need to create a backup for all data, or risk losing it all.
- Ensure that your PC has the supported USB drivers installed, or else your device will not be recognized.
- Ensure that the smartphone has 80% charge left at the least and do not disturb the process once it starts, as creating a rift mid-way could result in permanent damage to the device.
- Installing a custom ROM voids your company warranty and no backups or support will be provided by the officials. Hence, make it a point to revert to factory ROM before heading to the service station.
Amateurs are advised to follow the guidelines as indicated or seek professional help. Sound knowledge of rooting is required to complete the installation successfully. Here is a step-by-step guideline to installing the Custom ROM.
