And with that in mind, it’s safe to say that “Rookie Blue” had a good run all the way until the end, and the show is going to be remembered for a long time. It wasn’t just another typical police procedural, it actually had some interesting and fresh ideas and implemented them very well.
We’re curious to see where the people involved with the show are headed to next, as there have been various rumors about everyone attached to the production. It looks like everyone is taking their own road right now and we might not see any serious collaborations between those stars anytime soon, but only time will tell.
It’s good to see that the producers of the show knew where to draw the line with its plot, regardless of the fact that the production was cancelled by the network.
They didn’t express disappointment over the cancellation, they actually agreed with the idea of stopping the story where it was, so they obviously didn’t want to let it run forever and possibly spoil it in the long run. This has happened far too many times with various shows in the past, and it’s not a rare occurrence for a production that started off strong to keep getting worse and worse until it eventually dies off because it has become too clichéd.
