There might still be some hope for “Rookie Blue” in the future, but we have no idea what to expect from the network behind it right now. There’s always the possibility that the show might get picked up by another network even if it fails on its current one, but the ratings will still play a role in that decision.
There have also been some rare cases where fans of dying TV shows have brought them back from the dead with the help of petitions to the producers/networks, but the success of such campaigns is more of an exception rather than the norm.
Even if the show doesn’t go on after season 6 though, fans should at least still be happy that they got to enjoy it while it lasted. It was a great production that offered a lot of fun to its fans, and even introduced some fresh new ideas to the screen.
With all that in mind, we should still remember it for all the good moments that it offered, as there were definitely plenty of those, and it gave us lots of reasons to admire its characters and the high quality of its writing. If anything, it should be an example to TV networks that we need more shows like this.
