Roku 4 Responses Very Positive, Device Renowned for Great Capabilities!

TV streaming devices have been getting more and more popular over the last years, and several companies in particular have a large contribution to that – Apple and Roku are among the top names in that market, and for a good reason. They both have great offers in their line-ups and haven’t been afraid to experiment with some particularly interesting solutions that have secured them a great position on the market, and they both keep improving their offers on a constant basis. But the Roku 4, according to some, is undoubtedly the king of the market right now and it’s hard to compare it to others.

There have been various positive responses to the overall feature package of the Roku 4, including the streaming quality offered by the device, as well as its attractive, intuitively designed interface that easily stands out against the competition. Roku have been taking a lot of feedback on this particular feature of their device, and the changes are quite easy to see with each new iteration.

Initially, there were complaints about this specific aspect of the Roku from some people, at least for earlier models of the device. But the company has learned a lot through time, and now they’re able to offer a much more competent package that definitely feels like it was designed to be easy and straightforward to use.

4K streaming is gaining more and more popularity lately, and even though we’re probably still some time away from it becoming truly mainstream, it’s still good to see that more companies are paying attention to this trend. Apple have decided to skip the feature with their Apple TV 2, but not Roku when they brought the Roku 4 to the market, and some reviewers have been particularly fond of that decision.

And not only that, but the Roku 4 is priced much more attractively than Apple’s offer, something which shouldn’t surprise anyone given Apple’s past trends. The company isn’t exactly known for offering their products cheaply, and they’ve actually faced a lot of criticism over time for their tendency to slap ridiculous price tags on some of their devices.

But that’s a fact their fans have learned to accept, and in the end some even claim that it’s worth paying for the extra quality that Apple supposedly offer in their products. It’s also important to note that the price difference between the Roku 4 and Apple TV 2 in particular isn’t even that great, but the prices of the devices themselves don’t really allow for that much competition in this regard.

There have been various comparisons between the Apple TV 2 and Roku 4, but most people right now seem to agree that Roku are in the lead and have managed to come up with a much better overall solution than their competitors. We’re curious to see if this trend will continue for much longer, or if Apple are going to turn things around and start offering a more competitive package after a while.

Anything is possible, especially if Apple really dedicate themselves to the idea of capturing the TV streaming market. The market itself is still in a relatively young stage and it’s hard to say where things will go with it, and it’s actually in the hands of companies like Apple and Roku to steer it in the right direction. If they decide that it’s an important enough market to develop more actively, we’re sure that we’re going to see some even more interesting solutions sooner or later.
