Rockstar Confirms ‘GTA Online’ Heists DLC Arriving on March 10

Developer Rockstar Games has just confirmed that the much-anticipated heists DLC for “Grand Theft Auto Online” is finally coming on March 10.

Gamers have been counting the days since the “GTA Online” was launched late in 2013 when Rockstar first promised the heists DLC and it is already 519 days as of March 6, 2015.

Should Rockstar finally release the downloadable content for the multiplayer version of arguably the most popular video game in the world “Grand Theft Auto V” on March 10, fans and gamers have waited all of 523 days for it.

That’s a lot of waiting for a game content and Rockstar may really have something special in it that is why it took them so long to release it to the already waiting and very anxious gamers.

Bonus release

Along with the release of the “GTA Online” heists DLC, Rockstar will also release zombie DLC for the single-player “GTA V” version on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, notes the Australian edition of the International Business Times.

“GTA V” was released on November 18, 2014 for the PS4 and Xbox One but Rockstar has yet to unveil the PC version, but it did say that it would finally be launching it on April 17. Gamers have long been waiting for the PC version of “GTA V” since it has a multiplayer feature that can accommodate as much as 30 players in a particular game simultaneously.

The zombie DLC for “GTA V” is almost like a bonus release for gamers since they have been looking forward more to the heists DLC on “GTA Online” more than any other new contents from Rockstar.

Looking back to the past promises of Rockstar, the zombie DLC should have been release during the Halloween of 2014 as previously reported. But it never came out so unveiling it on March 10 has somewhat lost its thrill but it would still be a welcome addition to “GTA V” fanatics, numbering millions the world over.

A cooperative gameplay

Rockstar has also confirmed recently that the online heists for “GTA V” will be a cooperative gameplay involving four players to be able to complete the missions.

The developer explained that the DLC shall enable avid “GTA V” gamers the chance to work together as a team and pull of a string of intense multi-part raids and robberies across Los Santos and Blaine County.

In addition to the prison break and bank heists missions, “GTA V” gamers will also have to contend with zombies once the online heists DLC are released. A GTA tipster, who operates a Youtube channel to provide fans and gamers updates on the video game, pretty much confirmed the zombies by providing the source code for it.
