“Twilight” actor Robert Pattinson appears really serious in marrying girlfriend British singer-rapper FKA Twigs and he is showing it.
While the two have only started dating last summer following Robert Pattinson’s second split with former girlfriend Kristen Stewart in 2013, the relationship is said to be steamy as well as serious and that the actor is really planning on settling down for good with FKA Twigs.
There were even reports that RPatz was actually willing to let his career take the backseat in favor of giving the floor to his girlfriend whose career is starting to take off in the British music scene.
He was also quoted as saying previously that he was willing to be a hands-on husband to their future kids in the event that they marry and let his wife bask in her music career with all her fame and glory.
However, his family and friends have advised the actor to slow down with his plans so that he and FKA can give their relationship more time and for them to know more each other better.
Promise bands instead of engagement ring
While there have been reports as early as January that Robert Pattinson was already shopping for engagement ring in preparation for his plan to propose to FKA Twigs, it appears that the actor has taken to heart the advice given to him to slow down.
So instead of an engagement ring, RPatz decided to give girlfriend and himself matching promise bands on their fingers, reports Yahoo! News.
The promise bands are almost similar to engagement ring without the proposal but the talk that Pattinson is really serious about planning to tie the knot with FKA is still hot as ever.
One source close to the couple said that talks of wedding bells have been surrounding the couple. Robert really wants to marry FKA and he is happier now in their relationship than they first started. The two has already moved in at RPatz house late last year and whenever they are together, they are inseparable, bares the source.
Seriously smitten
Robert Pattinson is obviously smitten with the British musician, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett.
Prior to hooking up with FKA Twigs, Pattinson was also rumored to have been in relationships with American pop singer Katy Perry and American actress-model Riley Keough, the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley.
The “Twilight” actor has been joining the 27-year-old FKA Twigs in her musical gigs that began when he was seen on FKA Twigs’ European tour in October last year.
RPatz has also introduced FKA to his family during the recent Holidays and they were okay with her. Their only advice to Robert is that he must slow down and give their relationship more time to grow.
