Rise of the Tomb Raider Now Supports PlayStation 4 Pro, New Update Causes Crashes for Some Users!

Hopefully that won’t take too long, as it looks like many players are eager to try out the PS4 Pro version of the game, and re-experience the dramatic moments of its story in an entirely new way.

It seems like the work that’s been put into updating “Rise of the Tomb Raider” will set a good example for what can be done with the PlayStation 4’s new capabilities, so hopefully this will inspire other developers to put more effort into their own updates.

Meanwhile, there have been some rumors that the studio could be considering a return to the series’ roots, attempting to breathe some fresh life in the original gameplay style that was developed for the first few “Tomb Raider” games.

It’s possible that this is just a rumor and nothing more though, as it’s obvious that the people behind “Tomb Raider” are quite happy with the new direction the game has been moving in, and so are fans. It wouldn’t make much sense to throw all that progress away at this point, and we actually expect to see even more of the new style of “Tomb Raider”.

There has been no news of a new game in any form, but that makes sense as the studio is probably preoccupied trying to polish the current installment for its PS4 Pro edition, which must surely have been a challenging task by itself.
