Rihanna is moving towards being just a celebrity into a businesswoman in the glamour and fashion industry.
On November 12, the “FourFiveSeconds” singer launched Fr8me, her own style and beauty agency which seeks to assist artists in booking commercials, editorial shoots, ad campaigns, and red-carpet gigs, notes Lainey Gossip.
The “Umbrella” singer has apparently signed up on her team several hair and makeup artists as well as fashion stylists to ensure that Fr8me will live up to its goals and objectives.
In a recent interview, Rihanna said that hair, makeup, and styling play an important role in creativity. She states that she is very involved with the process so Fr8me was an organic thing for her to do.
She proudly states that Fr8me has some of the best style and fashion artists known to show business. Nonetheless, she says that she also knows how to spot a talent when she sees one, claiming that she has a soft spot for finding new talents with extraordinary skills.
It is a visionary move on the part of Rihanna because it means that she is growing in the business not only as an artist but going into a support segment that represents style talent too.
Everyone knows that Rihanna is one of the most aesthetically aspirational women in the world, so she can really hang out with the best in the so-called glam squad. But instead of merely aspiring to be part of the glam squad, she did more by investing in them in an effort to continue producing new members for the fashion team.
Fashion sense on display
As if to show her excellent sense of fashion and style, Rihanna was spotted the following day after the launching of Fr8me stepping out of her favorite Italian eatery Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica after dinner.
The 27-year-old singer was a sight to behold as she put on an extremely daring display in a shimmering gold slip dress with a long fur coat just slipping off her shoulders. She topped it off with a sporty baseball cap to give it the so-called signature spin, details the Daily Mail.
Apparently, she wore the cap to sort of conceal her appearance from the public. But it was a quite a reflection that she really knows her fashion ABCs than most of the people in the business.
Rihanna’s latest venture in the fashion industry also involves Benoit Demouy as her managing partner for Fr8me.
Rihanna’s tattoo started at all
Meanwhile, Keith ‘Bang Bang’ McCurdy, known as the most famous tattoo artist in the world, talked about how he put a gun tattoo in Rihanna some years back.
McCurdy is actually known as the tattoo artist to the most famous in the world and Rihanna is just one of the many celebrity artists whom he put a tattoo on. The list actually includes Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, LeBron James, and many more.
The tattoo artist said that he almost put Rihanna’s gun tattoo under her collarbone just above her front shoulder. He added that he almost did two of them too, but they only did one gun on her rib cage.
He said that he opted for the rib cage area because he does not want the tattoo to take so much away from Rihanna’s pretty face. McCurdy said that it was also the reason why the tattoos all around her face, neck, collar, and shoulder are done without black ink for people to see her instead of her tattoos.
McCurdy said that it was actually his work on Rihanna that his name as a great tattoo artist was spread around. He started receiving calls from CNN, MTV, and other media outlets.
As his business was essentially a word-of-mouth thing, he got the press that he deserved and shortly thereafter, stars and celebrities came running down on his doorsteps.
While Rihanna is single at the moment, some of her common friends with Chris Brown are still optimistic that Rihanna might eventually end up with Chris Brown.
