‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 to Possibly See the Triumphant Return of the Evil Morty!

While either Roiland or Harmon has yet to confirm it, there are reports going around that “Dog World,” an earlier piece but unaired animatic TV series created by Roiland for Cartoon Network back in 2012 will be integrated to Season 3 of “Rick and Morty.”

“Dog World” is the story of Peter Michael, his brother Edmund, and younger sister Sally, who all got sucked into a wormhole during a camping trip. They ended up in a world populated by talking anamorphic dog people who keep animal-like humans as pets.

Interestingly, the voices of Peter Michaels and Edmund, just like the voices of Rick and Morty are done by Roiland himself.

In previous episodes of Season 1 of “Rick and Morty,” Roiland has made reference to “Dog World” when Morty asked Rick on what it is like to have a world inhabited by dogs.

And for that, reports now have it that Season 3 of “Rick and Morty” may see the duo travel to “Dog World” and dealing with them too.

While some entities are still saying that “Rick and Morty” may integrate “Dog World” into Season 3 of the TV series, it should be noted that the iconic theme song of the popular TV series actually originated from the unaired show.
