There is also a video of the “Rick and Morty” Season 2 premiere party, with a live drawing from co-showrunner Justin Roiland.
Co-creator Dan Harmon said that they do not want to do a third season that simply spends a whole bunch of episodes dealing with a situation that they have created at the end of the second season.
He explained that it is a non-spoiler way of saying that things should be okay pretty quickly for “Rick and Morty” Season 3.
Reports have it that Roiland and Harmon have been doing a great job in keeping plot arcs tightly under wraps for each episode of Season 3 of “Rick and Morty.”
However, there are speculations that have been going around saying that one of the possible plotlines for Season 3 includes the lead characters weaving through time. There are also reports saying that Rick will create some chaos inside the Galactic Federation jail where he will attempt to break free.
The rumors about the time traveling plotline are reportedly based on the fact that “Rick and Morty” is actually a crude and unorthodox spin-off of “Back to the Future.”
According to the same rumors, Rick and Morty shall be going on a time-traveling escapade. However, there are also speculations that suggest that it will not be a time traveling per se, but a dimension-breaking adventure for the duo.
