Dan Harmon retweeted the post and asked fans how they thought animated television, internet works. Harmon clearly hinted at the fact that the writers were busy working on the new season of Rick and Morty and the fans have to give them time to wrap it up.
He lashed out at fans who asked him to get back to work. He said that no one had the right to tell him what to do since they didn’t pay him. He told the young fans to stop bossing him around and mind their own business.
Co-creator Justin Roiland responded to the fans as well. He said that no one has ever asked him about the premiere date for Rick and Morty Season3. He presumed in that case, everyone was happy and waiting for the third season patiently.
The writers are working hard to meet their deadlines, and they know that the fans are getting impatient. They are committed to producing good work and won’t compromise on any grounds when it comes to that. They are willing to delay the release of Rick and Morty Season 3 if they feel that the finished product isn’t the best shape. Dan Harmon has repeatedly stated that he is a perfectionist and won’t let anything pass until it is perfect.
