Meanwhile, the first two episodes of the new season have already leaked and have found their way to various video sharing websites all over the Web. The producers don’t seem to care and they haven’t been trying to take down the various copies.
And they shouldn’t, as this has worked wonders for the show’s popularity – hype has been through the roof recently ever since that leak, and many people who weren’t even aware of “Rick and Morty” found out about it thanks to the news about the leak.
Fans who have already seen the new episodes have had only good things to say about them though – it looks like the show is back in full swing, and it has even more to offer to its fans.
In the end though, it would definitely be better to wait for the official release of the season – if nothing else, at least the quality of the videos will be much better once they are released properly. We’re seeing some high quality uploads right now as it is, but getting it from the source will of course be a different story. Plus, we wouldn’t be surprised if the producers decided to throw in some surprises for their patient fans who wait for the official airing.
