Resident Evil: The Final Chapter Will See Some Familiar Faces Returning!

“Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” is shaping up to be more and more interesting, and the latest reports about the film claim that we’re likely going to see some familiar faces coming back. More specifically, it’s been reported that Ali Larter will be returning to her role as Claire Redfield, after we last saw her in “Afterlife” which followed “Extinction”. It’s worth noting that she was then removed from the next production for some reason, although her absence was never explained in the story itself.

It was also never stated that she had died though, so it makes sense that we would see her return at some point. And according to Paul Anderson, she’s actually going to be very important in the plot of the new installment. The director, who’s coming back for this film after working on four of the previous installments, seems hopeful that this will be an even more successful entry in the franchise than anything we’ve seen before.

And considering the fact that one of the fans’ favorite actresses will be coming back as well – Mila Jovovich – it’s not hard to imagine how the new film could easily be a huge hit. However, other actors coming back to the production haven’t been confirmed yet, and we don’t know what the full lineup is going to be like.

The film has been delayed a bit due to some developments in the private lives of Paul Anderson and his wife Mila Jovovich, who made the announcement that they were having a second child about a year ago, and this slowed down the progress of the film to some extent. Things are picking up now though, and it looks like work on “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” will soon be underway with full pace, and from what we can tell, everyone involved seems to be quite excited to be on the production.

Mila Jovovich has been posting on Instagram about her role in the new film, showing a picture of her getting a cast of her face prepared for the film. She reported that she was then traveling to South Africa to start preparing for the production, and she’s apparently completely committed to her work on the film at this point.

On the other hand, there have been reports that the actress is currently also discussing bringing “In the Lost Sands” by George R. R. Martin to the screen, and she has been negotiating the adaptation with the writer. Jovovich is apparently interested in playing the role of a sorceress, and the film will be produced by Myriad. Exact details remain unknown and the majority of the interesting parts about the plot are still kept a secret, but we expect to start hearing more about this film once work on “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” has concluded and Jovovich is able to devote more work to other productions.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

The actress seems very active in her work considering that she had a second child, and it’s admirable that she’s able to still devote so much of her life to pleasing her fans while apparently remaining a good mother at the same time. We don’t know if she has any plans to take a break from her acting in the future in order to concentrate on her family life, but if that’s about to happen, it likely won’t be long before we hear about it, as she has the attention of many of her fans right now.
