What’s up Capcom fans? The rumor mills are buzzing with vines from across the Internet and a million stories for one of the most anticipated Capcom legacies of all time – Resident Evil 7. As the world stands in attention for the release of Resident Evil 7 a.k.a. Resident Evil Revelations 2 on February 17, we decided to give a sum up of all the true stories about the game, we accumulated so far.
First thing first, if you have not seen the latest creature concepts of RE7, then you must go ahead and do that. If you don’t know where to look, you will find them in the official Resident Evil Timeline on Facebook. Yes! As crazy as this may sound – some of these creatures were good enough to ruin our taste buds! What do you think about them?
Coming back to the game – If you are a true fan of Horror thrillers, then you must be well acquainted with our foggy scare town a.k.a. Silent Hill. There is an uncanny resemblance of the monsters in Resident Evil 7 with that of Silent Hill don’t you think so?
Whatever be the case, the fans are still going to be as excited as they were before, and Capcom indeed has done a fabulous job of keeping the game as intensely scarifying and thrilling as possible. Leaving the storyline behind, the company decided to focus on the first and foremost trait that gamers look out for in Horror games – “The moments of scare.”
We all know that Capcom did not fair too well with the last few installments in the Resident Evil series, which was being quite a letdown to the franchise’ diehard fans. This time around, the company promises to make up for all its past fallacies and give the gamers the best of blood and the best of scare – no questions asked.
Gamers just want the pure survival horror setting of the Resident Evil game back, and that’s the only attribute they are chasing when they purchase the game. Experts believe that the reason for the game’s previous failure was the fact that it lost its golden touch. Somewhere down the development lines and all the new technology coming up, the game failed to keep the buzzing excitement of the fans of the scare card alive. We are sure Capcom has dug deeper this time, and they are going to give the crowd something that they have been craving for a very long time now.
Putting all the high hopes and religious Capcom talks aside, it must be stated that nothing can be said with complete confidence about how this horror tryst is going to fair. But, we know for a fact that if Capcom can go back to its roots and pull the sequence the way it had the first time, this is going to be a winner!
Silent Hill is going to be out sometime in the first quarter of 2016 and Resident Evil is going to release in just a few days. Let us take this moment to ask you guys – Which game would you rather see first, Silent Hill or Resident Evil? Shoot out your comments below!
